  6. Played through the Early Access Beta Demo and loved it. There were a few minor bugs that I have already reported. Looking forward to the full game. It is certainly hard to put this game down once you start it. The atmosphere of the game is perfect (literally and figuratively).

After reflecting on the story so far (approx. 25% through the game) I don't feel the character has a sense of interest or urgency in regards to his crew. I don't want to go into too much detail here, but if further info is needed let me know.

Bottom line: I don't think this game will be everyone's cup of tea, but no game is, regardless of reviews. But for me I think its a fantastic game with a even more fantastic intriguing story that keeps you going and wondering whats next.

    1. Hi Nero, yes I'm sorry, Mac version is coming but not quite ready. Hopefully in a couple weeks. I'm a one-man team so things never seem to happen as fast as I'd like. Thank you for checking it out...stay tuned for Mac!

    1. You need the robotic arm... tip: head back to the first building to find it. I need to make it so the game doesn't prompt for using the robotic arm until you have it! This will get fixed...

  12. Just waaaaaaouh ^^ I've finished the early access beta on steam and what can I say, I've been waiting for that game for a long time with expectations and man, you completely nailed it !
The ambience is just great, Sound in this game is perfect, voice acting, ambient sounds and music... music is awesome, can't wait for the OST !
Now, there are some little lags in the game (when you are in the town, in the first alien power station and in front of the alien door). It's just detail but....The ventilator that push you back in the ground facility : make the wind effect more visible, At first I was thinking of a bug ^^ ; Make visual for the jetpack at the back of the suit, and if it's possible a FPS view will be great for immersion (like in Gravity for example)
Once again, you did a great job, can't wait for the rest Thumbs up man ! (will make an article of your game in the french indie game site i'm working with).

  13. Creepy music was creeping me out lol. I like exploration games, but i kept thinking a zombie was gonna come out and attack my brains. If that's the effect you were going for then you nailed it.
The game play is what i expected. I'm happy with the control and movements. I'd just like to see more color. You get the story in the tapes etc. about the beauty of the planet while roaming this desolate planet. The hallucinations in the lab provide for this somewhat. I'd like more of that type of thing in the final product for a little more contrast if that's possible.
My favorite part about this beta was that riff that plays after the first encounter in chasm (i wish it were a whole song). That kind of dreamy music works well with an exploration game. It also helps to counteract the zombie apocalypse music.
Have a good time finishing up your game. The beta was definitely worth playing.

  17. The only thing I'm bummed about is that the full version isn't ready yet! ^_^
The soundtrack is fabulous, the visuals are stunning, and the story is very compelling.
One feature that would be nice to have is more frequent checkpoints, so if the user has to exit and return, they don't have to re-do some of the game. A bug related to this is, when you re-do some of the game it logs whatever docs, log items, or science items you encounter twice on the holo device. Which isn't a big deal, but would be nice if fixed.
Way to go for creating such an awesome game! Can't wait for the full version!

  22. Hi David,
Great job on the beta release. Just finished playing it in one sitting. Cant wait to see the final product.

Just a few suggestions for you. I played with a gamepad and when you go to the holo-pad to read an entry, the mouse cursor shows up right in the middle of the text. It would be nice if it were off to the side or even invisible if the mouse were not being used.

Also it seemed buggy to control through the entries in the holo-pad with the gamepad. I couldnt seem to scroll up or down through the entries to click the plus/minus signs.

All in all an outstanding atmosphere and I cant wait to see behind the door!!
